Today which is Saturday, I went out to go to junk shops and garage sales and such. While at one shop I started walking around the rooms but keep coming back to one room that I spied my treasure. Now do not laugh for even my boyfriend giggled when I said that I wanted this treasure that I need to bring this treasure home. One man that was watching us sat down to observe the happenings. I knew he was there.

We walked up to this treasure and I said - this is what I need today.

My guy laughingly said - why - I said just because. He said - what are you going to do with it? I said - what ever I choose to do with it. He is still laughing and says - where are you going to put it? I said laughing back - in the many places I choose to. Now the man that was sitting down was laughing along with us. Now this treasure was marked down to $25.00 and I just knew it was calling my name.

The treasure is a door with a window. It is very heavy as it is made from Oak wood. So my guy laughs and says well tell me what you are going to

do with it?  So my reply was this - I am going to set it in my living room where I can see it always - and across the top I am going to write "This door opens to all of my own new opportunities."

Enough said says my guy - the man on the bench just shook his head

and  laughed along with us - we got someone to help us get it to my truck and I just knew this man was telling his wife that he must have seen the silliest thing happen today.

Yep - all my own new opportunities.

Just wanted to share this piece of humor with you all - I sure will have fun painting this door.

I shall add pictures as time goes on and as the door advances.

A door made from Oak wood - and what shall it beocme.

As I sat across from the door I saw this shadow of the fairy you see.  She has her hand out - right now I have an idea what she will be holding but that will be another creation all on its own. 

This project is already loads of fun - I would recomend that everyone have a door of their own to create.

As I evolve so does the door.  This week while out and about I came across the next addition to the door.  So here it is:  Reflections.

These are faces of seven sisters together as one.  They show a reflection of each other's smile into your heart.

They syaing here is: Through this door lies all of my own opportunities.

As the door progresses - so do I.  Every time I look at this door I smile for there is so much truth into what I have put into this item that once stayed in a cornor waiting for me to proclaim what is mine.
